West Copley Place to Celebrate Thanksgiving on the Mayflower
What could be more authentic than enjoying Thanksgiving dinner on the Mayflower? No, not that Mayflower, silly. We’re talking about Mayflower Moving Company trucks. You know the ones. And at the Westin Copley Place, we’re super excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Mayflower once again to serve Thanksgiving dinner to Boston’s first responders aboard their moving trucks!
Everyone loves Thanksgiving dinner. But so many of Boston’s first responders are busy working for the city and making sure we’re safe on Thanksgiving Day. That’s what we choose to do something special for our Boston firefighters, police officers, EMTs, MBTA transit police, and Massachusetts state police. Maybe they can’t be home around the dinner table with their families, but at least they can take a little break during their day and enjoy a wonderful holiday meal with their co-workers and other first responders.
Of course, it can be chilly out there come the fourth Thursday in November, so we make sure diners are quite comfortable aboard the Mayflower “dining rooms.” See? When you’re working hard for your city out in the cold on Thanksgiving Day, you deserve to take a little break! Westin Copley Place Executive Chef Chris Masco will cook up a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the fixins’!
So, thank you once again to all of Boston’s first responders! And please join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. for Thanksgiving on the Mayflower! The truck will be located right outside our hotel at 10 Huntington Ave. Happy Thanksgiving!
